Founding deposit terms.
In short: the deposit holds your numbered place, counts toward your price, and comes back in full whenever you ask before your robot ships.
What the deposit is
A deposit of $250 for a home, or $1,000 for a site pilot, holds a numbered founding place: one of 20 founding homes, or one of 5 founding site pilots.
You pay it to Cereal Robotics, Inc. through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.
It counts toward your price
Your deposit is credited to the price of your robot or your pilot.
Paying it does not commit you to buy. You decide when we confirm your ship date and terms.
Getting it back
You can have your deposit back in full, for any reason, any time before your robot ships.
Email hello@cereal.bot with your reference (it starts with CR-). We refund it to the card you paid with within 5 business days of your email. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
If we can't deliver to you, your deposit is refunded in full.
Before the balance
We confirm your ship date, your final price and what the robot does on day one with you in writing before we charge the balance. You can still ask for your deposit back at that point.
Founding prices
A founding home is $19,900, locked for the 20 founding homes. After them, the list price is $24,900.
The Cole plan, $149 a month for Cole, updates and support, starts in month 13: the first 12 months are included for founding homes, a $1,788 value. Founding homes also get a 2-year warranty instead of 1.
A founding site pilot is from $1,250 a month per robot, on a 12-month term.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude local taxes and import duties, which we confirm with you before the balance is charged.
Where and when
We ship in Thailand and the United States first, from early 2027. In other countries, delivery depends on local approvals, and we tell you as soon as we know.
